  1. Tyrannosaurs weren't the only Dinosaur to have small arms

Tyrannosaurus Rex well known for its Robust jaw , huge size and also for its famous teeny-weeny arms but they weren't the only member of the Small-Arms club alone. Let me introduce you to the group Abelisaurs.

so as you can see Abelisaurs had forgot to bring their arms back from Triassic period.
Carnotaurus ,Majungasaurus and Abelisaurus(of course) were some members of the  group Abelisauridae .



2. T.Rex are more closely related to chickens 🐔than Crocs🐊

The ferocious Tyrannosaurus's closest relatives are chickens and Ratites than crocodilians according to  the  Paleontologists.


Researchers took a shred of protein from a 68 million year old Tyrannosaurus fossil and compared it to the same protein of 21 modern species and found that Chickens and Ratites were the closest modern-day relatives of the Dinosaurs.

3. Shortest Dinosaur names till now


The word "I am" is the shortest complete sentence but do you know about the shortest Dinosaur names. They are "Yi qi","Khaan"and "Minmi".

  • Yi qi
 Yi qi (name meaning "Strange wing") was a climbing and gliding  species of dinosaur known from a single fossil specimen found in China.It lived during the Middle-late Jurassic period,approx approximately 159 million years ago.

  • Khaan
Khann(name meaning "Lord")  was an Oviraptorid dinosaur which lived in Mongolia during the Late Cretaceous 83.6 million years ago - 66 million years ago.

  • Minmi

Minmi(name meaning"Minmi crossing") was a genus of a small herbivorous Ankylosaurus dinosaur that lived during early Cretaceous period in Australia.132.9 million years ago - 99.6 million years ago .

4. Dinosaur 🦖mean Terrible lizard
